We wish her every success and await regular updates as to her progress during training,

unfortunately due to an injury Emma has withdrawn from the 2012 Brighton Marathon.

She hopes to be able to run this in 2013.

We wish her a speedy recovery and hope she is fit to compete next year. We would like to thank Emma for her fundraising and support of the Matthew Russo Foundation.  We would also like to thank everyone who has sponsored her as they have kindly agreed to let the donated monies stand and be contributed to the foundation.

News and events are being added all the time so please visit the website on a regular basis.

We value your support at these events, please remember without your help and support the foundation cannot continue to grow and help local special needs children.

Fellow committee member Mark Beard is also running the Brighton marathon in support of the foundation and in memory of Matthew.  Please show your support for Mark and the foundation by donating.

My name is Laura Fitch, I am 20 years old and trying to fundraise, for at least one charity a year. For the second year running I am raising money for Air Ambulance, (as well as splitting the funds 50 -50 with The Matthew Russo Foundation).
Air Ambulance should receive government and national lottery funding, and should not be reliant on public donations. To me this is an utter disgrace, if it wasn't for Air Ambulance so many lives would be lost unnecessarily. But sadly they do not get this support, and they need as much support as they can get.
I am also supporting The Matthew Russo Foundation this year, splitting the donations I receive 50-50 between both charities. I have known Bridgette and Dom for a number of years through kickboxing, they are such a wonderful family and The Matthew Russo Foundation helps so many children and their families who are in great need of help and support.
I am hoping to complete the London Marathon in around 4 hours, I feel very honoured running on behalf of both of these much
needed charities. To be able to get a place in this year’s one is amazing, with it being the year of the Olympics too.

I will be raising money throughout 2012 for both these charities, and hoping to raise around the £2500 for them.

Any donation will be gratefully received no matter how small, as every penny counts.
